Shipping Policy
Thank you for choosing Terra Cuir. Because each of our items is uniquely handcrafted, our shipping process differs from standard retail stores. Please review our policy below to understand how your order is prepared, inspected, and delivered.
1. Handcrafted Production Timelines
- Crafting with Care: We do not maintain a massive stock of pre-made items. Every piece is made by hand.
- Completion Dates: Shipping timelines are entirely dependent on the time it takes to meticulously craft your item. Production times can vary based on the complexity of the piece and current order volumes.
- No Rushed Orders: We prioritize quality over speed to ensure you receive a piece that lasts a lifetime.
2. Quality Inspection
- Our Standard: Once the crafting process is complete, your item undergoes a rigorous quality inspection.
- Passing Grade: We only ship items that successfully pass this inspection. If a piece does not meet our high standards, we will rework it until it is perfect. This may occasionally extend the timeline, but we believe you deserve nothing less than our best work.
- Notification: As soon as your item passes inspection and is packed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.
3. Shipping Provider & Delivery Timeframes
- Carrier Timelines: Once your package is handed over to the shipping carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL), the delivery window is entirely subject to that shipping company’s timeframes, routes, and potential delays.
- Estimated Delivery: Any delivery dates provided at checkout are estimates generated by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Terra Cuir.
4. Transfer of Liability
- Our Responsibility Ends at Shipment: Terra Cuir takes full responsibility for your item during the crafting and inspection phases. However, once an item passes inspection and is accepted by the shipping company, Terra Cuir is no longer liable.
- Carrier Risks: We are not responsible for packages that are delayed, lost, damaged in transit, or stolen after delivery.
- Claims: For any issues occurring during transit, claims must be filed directly with the shipping carrier using the tracking information provided in your confirmation email.
